Food will be catered by Mission BBQ, please bring any sides you wish to contribute, like, deviled eggs, red potato salad, veggie trays, anything you'd like to contribute.
 
I'll provide Stingray Smoked Salsa and Chips.
 
Note: When using GPS to come in, please use the entrance off of 426 and Seminole Woods Blvd (south of SR 46). When you come to Tallapoosa and Seminole Woods, go through the automatic double gates and look for the mailbox that is black and has an orange post (Harley-Davidson).
 
We have enough space for 100 Corvettes - last time, we had 54 (March 19th, 2016) - let's go for 100!

Late post - CKCC Toy Run

Late update.  The CKCC toy run had to change it's location due to Eckler's essentially turning the cold shoulder to the Corvette industry and fan base, so the event host location, gratefully, was hosted by Walmart - the Distribution Center on SR 524 (just east of I-95).  There were only 200 Corvettes in attendance this year and it's believed that the change in location was the cause of the small turnout.  I'll help fix this for next year, getting the word out for the host location update.

VetteFest 2024 at Old Town in Kissimmee, FL

All Corvettes, classic and new, come and spend the day showing off your muscle power and shine.
 
In honor of the Corvette, Old Town will once again host VetteFest on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
 
This special car event, now in its 19th year, welcomes Corvettes, classic and new, to spend the day showing off their muscle power and shine. Registration begins at 10:00 am with a Corvette-only cruise down Old Town’s main street at 3:00 pm.
 
VetteFest T-Shirts will be on sale during the event for $15.00 each. (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST). Cash and Credit Card will be accepted.

First time back in Grant at Corvette Tech this year - cleaned up the shop a bit and made more room by moving the 93 closer to Mikey's 01 and the 82 - still have room to move the 82 forward or move the 93 back to work on the 82 - nothing is boxed in.  Set for a few weeks out to build a park bench so we can have a place to sit outside for our cookouts that will happen more often now that the holidays are past.  Here's the gallery: Corvette Tech 01/13/2024

Stingray Smoked Salsa

Is ready for the festivities to begin!  If you can read this post, you're invited to the cookout today starting at 10am in Orlando, FL.

Stingray Smoked Salsa is prepared and ready for consumption of mass quantities.

1 can of tomato sauce
1 can peeled plum tomatoes (drained)
1 can Fiesta Corn (drained, added at end)
1 each Red, Green, Yellow Bell Peppers, Yellow onion, garlic
4 tomatoes
1 Smoked jalapeño
1 non Smoked jalapeño
2 heads of cilantro
4 limes split into 4 then squeezed directly in salsa
Black peppercorns added during the smoking phase
1/4 cup chili powder
zero salt added, if preferred, can add beforehand
 
Placed all ingredients in a blender, blended on "pulse" to chop everything up, quick chops to blend.
 
Smoked all ingredients (minus cilantro, one jalapeño, limes).

Vettes for Vets II - date and time changing

Standby for an alternate date for the show. 99% chance it will happen next year between January and March. October is not in the cards as Celebration Brewing Company isn't going to be open yet (construction delays). This is a GOOD thing as Lake Mirror Classic Car Show happens on the same weekend in October and this gives me more time to get a $15k sponsor for the show.

I just got off the phone with Scott and here is the following information for the celebration of life for Bud Evans and the start time is more than likely going to be around 10:00 a.m. please let us know if you can or cannot make it, south Florida. I will get the address asap.
